As the chapel continued to grow the building and facilities were considered and it was decided to undertake a number of improvements. 
1980 - Repair and build an extension to the Vestry at a cost of £6,600.
1985 - Renew the chapel roof, install new windows, remove the "Big Seat" and install a new beam to support the gallery.
1987 - A new wall was built around the cemetery and further improvements were made to the vestry at a cost of £11,000.
1989 - Installed new toilets, costing £5,000.
1991 - Installed a new organ costing £6,000.
