Gwynfa

To provide for the demand for Welsh services in Church Village a Sunday School was started in the English Baptist Hall on the first Sunday of 1907.

It was decided to build a vestry in Church Village, for the Sunday School. The building on St Illtud Road cost £600, and it was opened on February 16th, 1910.

An important step in 1914 was to start regular services on Sunday evenings at Gwynfa.

The last service at Gwynfa was held on 20 October 1955.
